PerqUp
For cafe owners

Your regulars,
in your pocket.

PerqUp replaces the paper card, shows you who is actually coming back, and gives you a way to say something to them. No printing, no new hardware, no chain-app contract.

Live in about fifteen minutes on a tablet you already own. Cancel any time.

Why bother

A paper card is a discount. It isn't a relationship.

The chains know who their customers are and can talk to them. Independents run on cardboard and hope. That's the gap.

You don't know who your regulars are

You know their faces and their order. You have no way to count them, no way to tell a weekly from a daily, and no way to notice when one stops coming.

Cards get lost, forged and forgotten

Reprints cost money. A borrowed stamp costs a coffee. And every card left in a drawer is loyalty you paid for and never got.

Tuesday is quiet and you can't do a thing

A chain sends a push and fills the shop. You put a sign on the footpath and hope the weather holds.

Behind the counter

Built for a bar at 8am, not a desk at 2pm.

Nobody types an email address during a rush. The device signs in once and stays in; your team identify themselves with a four-digit number.

1

Sign the tablet in once

You approve the device from your own account. It stays signed in through shifts, reboots and busy Saturdays.

2

Staff tap a four-digit PIN

Add someone in seconds — name and PIN, that's it. No email invites, no magic links, no password resets on a Sunday morning.

3

Scan, and stamp

One tap for one coffee. Plus two or plus three for a table order, in a single transaction. New customer? Their card is created by the same scan.

4

Mis-tapped? Void it

Staff can undo their last transaction for fifteen minutes; you can undo anything from today. Nothing is deleted — the void is recorded and the card recalculates.

No double-dipping

The same customer can't be stamped twice inside sixty seconds.

Everything is attributed

Every stamp, reward and void records who did it. Your ledger is trustworthy.

Notifications and campaigns

The bit that actually grows the shop.

A loyalty card gives you repeat business. A way to talk to the people holding one gives you a Tuesday. This is the part chains have had for years and independents have never been able to buy.

Write it once. Send it in about a minute.

Have a go — pick who it's for, write something, and send it. Nothing leaves this page.

We haven't seen you in a while...
Your plan this cycleSilver

92 of 400 messages used. One message to one person is one message.

We measure feet through the door

Not "opens" — web push cannot report those honestly, so we don't pretend to. A campaign is measured by recipients who were stamped at your cafe within 72 hours, and the rewards they redeemed.

Your cardholders, nobody else's

Every audience is a subset of the people who hold a card with you, re-checked at the moment you send. There is no list to buy and no way to reach a stranger.

A cap that protects everyone

PerqUp caps how many messages any one person can receive, across the whole platform. People who are not being spammed keep the app installed, which is what makes your next message worth sending.

Audiences you can actually control

Everyone

Every customer holding a card with you.

Frequent

Five or more stamps with you. Your best people.

At risk

No visit in three weeks or more. The ones worth chasing.

Hand-picked

Choose individuals, name the list, use it again.

Your console

Recognise your regulars like you would from behind the counter.

Not a dashboard for the sake of one. Four numbers that mean something, a live feed of what just happened, and the ability to open one person and see their pattern.

Only your shop, ever

You see this person's activity at your cafe and nothing else. Where else they drink coffee is not something PerqUp will ever show you — that boundary is what makes people comfortable holding a card at all.

Actual screen from the app
Your page in the app

It stays your cafe, not ours.

PerqUp is one app, but the moment somebody opens your page it is your name, your colour, your photos and your words. We are the plumbing, not the brand on the cup.

Your logo and photos

A hero shot and a gallery — the room, the machine, the thing you are known for.

Your brand colour

Pick it from a palette that only offers shades that stay readable.

Your menu, your structure

Categories, sub-categories and items, in the order you think about them.

Your reward

Every eighth coffee, every tenth — whatever your margins say.

Order ahead

A head start, not a second job.

On Silver and Gold, turn it on if it suits your counter and off if it doesn't. Orders arrive on the same screen your team already uses, with a chime and a banner that won't stop until somebody acknowledges it.

One tap to acknowledge, then 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes — the customer sees the real clock time, you don't do the maths.

No money moves through the app. They pay at the counter exactly as they do now.

Only people who have actually been in can order from you. A stranger cannot send you anything.

Rules that stop prank orders

First visit unlocks ordering. Somebody who just ordered from another shop waits an hour before they can order from you (you can switch that off). And if one person becomes a problem, block them from ordering without touching their card.

More than one shop

Run the group, or run them apart.

If you have several sites, you decide whether a stamp earned at one counts everywhere or whether each shop keeps its own card. It's your call, not your managers'.

One view of every shop

A franchise view that lists all your sites, with roll-up numbers and a per-shop breakdown.

Shared card or card per shop

Switch individual stores in or out of the shared card as they open, change hands or find their own crowd.

Owner-only controls

Shop managers can see how loyalty is set up. Only the owner can change it.

Getting started

Live this afternoon.

Four steps. The longest one is choosing your photos.

1

Account and plan

Email and password, confirm by email, pick your country and tier. Card details go to Stripe, never to us. Your first cafe starts with a free trial, and it is ready as soon as checkout is done.

2

Work the checklist

Your console opens on a go-live checklist and tracks it for you: your name, your location and your stamp card. Adding your menu is optional.

3

Set up the counter

Sign in on the tablet and approve it once from your account, then add your team with a name and a four-digit PIN each.

4

Go live

With the checklist done your page appears in the app for anyone nearby, and the first scan creates the first card.

The console tells you what's left

Four facts stand between a new cafe and appearing in the app. You never have to remember them — the checklist and the sidebar both show what is outstanding until it isn't.

Plan is active

Done at sign-up.

Name and location

What customers see, and where the map pin lands.

Stamp card

How many stamps earn a coffee. Your menu is optional.

What you need

  • A tablet or spare phone with a camera, on the counter
  • Wifi, and about fifteen minutes
  • A card for the subscription

What you don't

  • New hardware, scanners or a dock
  • A change to your till or your EFTPOS
  • A contract that ties you in
Cafe questions

What owners ask first

No. Any tablet or spare phone with a camera and wifi will do. If you already have an iPad on the counter, that is the whole setup.
They don't, in the usual sense. You approve the device once from your own account and it stays signed in. Each team member has a four-digit PIN that identifies them for the shift, so every stamp is attributed to a person without anybody typing an email address behind the bar.
No, and that is deliberate. Every audience you can build is a subset of the people holding a card with your cafe, and it is re-checked on the server at the moment you send. It is the promise that makes customers comfortable joining at all.
Recipients who were stamped at your cafe within 72 hours of the send, and rewards redeemed in the same window. We do not report "opens" or "lift" percentages, because web push cannot measure them honestly. Feet through the door is the number that matters anyway.
Your page comes out of the app and your cardholders stop seeing you. Their stamp history is not deleted, and the marks they earned at your cafe stay in their Passport.
Yes. Your first cafe on PerqUp starts with a free trial, and there is no long-term contract: the plan is billed every four weeks and you can cancel from your own billing page. If you would rather talk it through first, we will walk you through a live cafe console on a call.
